Building the Future of Orthopaedics in Texas

Each year, over 60 Texas MS 2 and MS 3 students participate in TOA’s medical school program during TOA’s Leadership Conference: “The Transition: Medical School to Residency.” Saturday morning’s breakout session is dedicated to helping Texas medical school students navigate the transition to an orthopaedic residency.

Saturday morning features a special session dedicated to medical school students who are MS-2 and MS-3 from Texas schools.

Funding

TOA did not receive a grant for medical school funding in 2026.

As a result, TOA will not be able to award travel scholarships or provide attendance at TOA’s meeting on Friday.

Registration

All MS 2 and MS 3 students attending Texas medical schools are invited to attend Saturday morning’s medical school session at no cost
