Over a dozen Texas orthopaedic surgeons visited Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, September 18 – 19, 2023, to tell Congress about Medicare physician payment cuts, the prior authorization gold card and physician-owned hospitals.

In addition, TOA supported the travel for a half dozen residents to participate in the visits.
